This vintage mid century modern cabinet was designed by George Nelson for Herman Miller in 1946 for his “Basic Series” of modular furniture that coordinate in size, shape, and design and includes the now iconic Nelson platform bench. With clean, rectilinear lines and minimalist aesthetic, the unit features five spacious dovetailed drawers on the left and a closed cabinet on the right that opens to three adjustable and removable shelves. The cabinet has solid metal handle pulls and ebonized wooden legs. This versatile and collectible showpiece is perfect for home or office, living room or bedroom. Use as a storage cabinet, dresser or bar cabinet.
