This unique antique Art Deco burl wood and glass secretary desk cabinet is circa 1930. This small cabinet has a distinctive asymmetrical-shaped case and is expertly handcrafted with gorgeous match-booked walnut burl wood grain and finished interiors. It features a locking drop-down writing surface over two lower compartments, the center with original sliding glass doors with etched handles and one shallow shelf. To the left are three dovetailed drawers with rounded fronts over a tall locking compartment with one removable shelf, all with original brass and Bakelite handles. All brass fittings with original brass key. This versatile piece can be used as a secretary desk, small storage or display cabinet, small bar cabinet, etc.
Excellent original vintage condition with wear consistent with age and a naturally aged appearance. Original brass key included, but works sporadically. One small chip at the corner of one Bakelite handle. A few scattered veneer lifts and minor chips at edge.
