This vintage mid century modern diamond wire lounge chair designed by Harry Bertoia (American, 1915-1978) for Knoll is circa 1970. The chair has welded steel rod construction and this model features a silver diamond seat and silver base. Originally designed by Bertoia in 1952, the industrial material and sculptural form of this iconic chair has become a fixture of American mid century modern design. The sculptural profile and airy nature of this classic chair makes it the perfect furniture accent for any space.
