This classic Bauhaus LC10-P steel and glass low coffee or cocktail table was designed by Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand and Pierre Jeanneret and first exhibited at the Salon d’Automne in Paris in 1929. Le Corbusier referred to a house as a “machine for living,” an industrial product that should include functional furniture or “equipment de l’habitation.” Expressing the rationalist aesthetic that came to epitomize the International Style, the framework of the LC10 Low Table is reduced to a minimum. The clean, elegant design features tubular steel legs with polished chrome finish and nickel-plated steel glides with a thick, tempered clear glass top with beveled edge. This LC10-P low table model was produced by Cassina in 1987 and is engraved, signed and numbered 03685. All authentic LC10-P tables are manufactured by Cassina under exclusive worldwide license from the Le Corbusier Foundation. Made in Italy.

Excellent vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use.
