This exceptional set of matching vintage mid century Danish modern lighted display cabinets were made by Sejling Skabe in Denmark circa 1960. The cabinets are impeccably crafted from teak wood and the minimalist Scandinavian modern design features clean, geometric lines. The display shown consists of two separate matching cabinets that are each two pieces for more convenient transport and storage. The two units can be used side-by-side or separated and used independently. The larger cabinet features an upper step-back hutch with two upper doors with distinctive rounded glass windows opening on three interior shelves - the upper and lower are glass and the center wooden shelf has a hidden cabinet light. Just below is a drop-down writing surface with interior storage cubby with two adjustable and removable vertical dividers. The lower section features two drawers to the left and one spacious compartment with one adjustable and removable shelf to the right. The smaller cabinet also features an upper step-back hutch with one upper door with rounded glass window opening on three interior shelves - the upper and lower are glass and the center wooden shelf has a hidden cabinet light. The lower section features one spacious compartment with one adjustable and removable shelf. The cabinets feature beautiful detailing throughout including fully finished interiors, solid teak square handle pulls and all brass fittings, including original working keys for the drop-down door and lower door. Sejling Skabe, Made in Denmark stickers and stamps on reverse. USA import date 1985. This versatile cabinet can be used as a china cabinet, bar cabinet, storage or display cabinet, secretary bookcase, etc.; perfect for home or office.

Excellent vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Two original working cabinet keys included.
