This vintage mid-century Finnish modern teak secretary desk cabinet was made in Finland by Venesta circa 1960. The classic Nordic modern design has clean, minimalist lines and gentle curves and the teak exhibits beautiful natural grain. The upper cabinet features three small stacked center drawers flanked by two sliding doors each opening to interior storage. The lower cabinet has a pullout extending desk top over three spacious stacked bottom drawers, supported on classic tapered, cigar-shaped legs. All drawers feature distinctive sculpted wood handle pulls. This versatile piece is perfect for the living room or home office and can be used as desk, storage cabinet, dresser or bar cabinet. Label on backside reads Venesta, Made in Finland.
CONDITION
Excellent vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. No drawer key present.
