Danish Modern Oak Modular Wall Unit, Mid Century Bookcase Display Cabinet

This set of three vintage mid century Danish modern oak wood bookcase display cabinets by Hansen & Guldborg was made in Denmark circa 1960. The minimalist Scandinavian modern design features clean, geometric lines and elegant proportions and the components are well-crafted from oak in a lighter wood tone. This unique modular set is comprised of three sections - with three lower cabinets and three open shelf units that sit on top (as shown). Three free-standing cabinet bases are included. All units are interchangeable and can be rearranged to be used side-by-side to create one large wall unit as shown or separated and placed in different areas of the home. The highly functional design offers a well-balanced selection of open display and hidden storage components and includes a drop-down tabletop for a seated desk configuration. All slide-out cabinet shelves are adjustable and removal. Cabinet back panels are a tempered hardboard substrate with a laminated woven fabric-backed texture effect. CONDITION
Excellent vintage condition with light wear and minor marks consistent with age and use. Minor fading to certain areas mostly hidden when assembled. The three cabinet bases included sit freely and do not attach. A few holes cut for cords in backside.
