Description

This exceptional step-back teak wood china cabinet or "cabinet a deux corps" was designed by Kai Winding and made in Denmark by Hundevad & Co. circa 1960. This gorgeous cabinet is elegantly proportioned with clean, minimalist lines. It is impeccably crafted from teak wood with a rich, warm tone and beautiful natural grain. The two-piece cabinet features a lower sideboard with two side doors opening on storage each with one adjustable and removable shelf and five center dovetailed drawers with distinctive inset sculpted door handles. The upper hutch features two tall wooden side doors opening on storage with three adjustable and removable shelves on each side and center glass door with three adjustable and removable display shelves. The cabinet has fully finished interiors and all doors and top drawer are locking with original brass keys. Connecting hardware brackets on backside. This versatile cabinet can be used as a china cabinet, bar cabinet, storage or display cabinet, bookcase, etc. Perfect for home or office.

CONDITION
Excellent vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Solid and sturdy. Minor fading at top of sideboard beneath hutch. Not visible when hutch is in place. Original working cabinet keys included. Danish Control stamp on back of both cabinets.
