This unique Italian Art Deco walnut wood sideboard or bookcase credenza is circa 1940. The cabinet is beautifully handcrafted and features a simple, elegantly-proportioned design with clean lines and gentle curves. The center section features four dovetailed drawers with original solid wood round knobs over open shelving with one fixed shelf, flanked on either side by two locking side doors with elegant rounded edges opening on storage with one adjustable and removable shelf each. This lovely and versatile cabinet can be used as a sideboard or credenza, bookcase, bar cabinet, storage cabinet, media console, etc. The perfect showpiece for home or office. From the collection of Samuel Botero and Emery Von Sztankoczy. Botero was an A-list interior designer and tastemaker.
CONDITION
Excellent vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Two original working brass keys included. One small hole added to back for wires.
