This iconic mid-century modern Platform Bench by George Nelson for Herman Miller was produced circa 2020. This mid century modern classic was first designed by George Nelson in the 1940s to be flexible, customizable and modular. It can serve as a seat or a table and can be combined with additional units to create a longer surface. The clean, minimalist design features solid wood construction with an airy slatted top; this particular model has a finger-jointed ebonized maple black wooden base and a natural solid maple seat with a clear-coat finish. Rubber bumpers on base protect flooring.
CONDITION
Excellent vintage condition with very minor wear.
