Exceptionally well-crafted in dark, richly figured rosewood, the system pairs dramatic natural grain patterns with the clean, restrained lines characteristic of Scandinavian modern design. Each of the three sections consists of a separate upper and lower unit, allowing for easier transport, storage and installation.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe cabinet system offers a highly functional and versatile combination of open shelving and concealed storage and includes a fitted drop-front bar compartment. The two outer lower cabinets each feature two drawers above double doors opening to divided storage compartments, while the center lower cabinet has two wide drawers. The left and center upper hutches offer adjustable and removable open shelving. The right hutch combines open shelving with a lighted, lockable drop-front compartment that opens to form a generous writing or serving surface. Its fitted interior features a mirrored back, central divider, three thick adjustable glass shelves and white lower surfaces with fitted glass protectors. All cabinet drawers feature distinctive turned rosewood pulls set within shallow circular recessed surrounds. All cabinet shelves are adjustable and removable. The left and center upper hutches are finished in rosewood on the backsides. Original stamped manufacturer’s mark reads “Bodafors, Design B. Minor fading on the interior cabinet walls where the shelves have been positioned over time, largely concealed with the shelves arranged as shown but potentially more apparent if repositioned. The integrated light retains its original wiring and cord but has not been tested.
