The compact sofa is well-built and solid and features a collapsible backrest with a double pad backrest and single seat cushion finished with a reinforcing cord welting detail. The sofa seat is supported by fabric-reinforced rubber webbing on a steel and wire-spring armature and the steel sofa frame is black enamel with silver chrome-plated tubular steel legs. Metal manufacturer's label to frame reads 'Herman Miller'. Paper manufacturer's label to underside cushion reads 'Made by Herman Miller Inc.'.
